Chrno Crusade Synopsis: Chrono Crusade follows an unlikely duo as they attempt to destroy supernatural evil through exorcisms in 1920’s New York City.
America in the roaring ’20s. On the surface, it’s a positive, peaceful time after the violence of the Great War. But lurking in the shadows is a dark element ready to snatch that peace away. Sister Rosette Christopher, an exorcist working as a part of the Magdalan Order, is charged with the duty of fighting demons, before they can cause too much mayhem. But along with her companion, Chrono, she usually ends up causing more destruction than the demons themselves! On one particular mission, they meet a young girl with a beautiful voice named Azmaria, who is being targeted by her own stepfather. As Rosette and Chrono work to save her, more is revealed about the relationship between them. There is more to these two than meets the eye.

i LOVE this series. this is one of the few series i can say everyone will like. deep plot that is amazing. twist turns that make story more interesting then it already is. wonderful art. clean on graphics. (not all people want porn like clothing on the main girls) but still dark enough with death destruction. and angst and fluff and romance that all girls love.
this series keeps you hooked till it's finished. manga or anime it doesn't even matter. but manga does have more to it in plot because of the fact it was not all put into the anime.

This series also has an animated version – they are DIFFERENT so please be aware of that fact. They aren’t 100% different but they deviate from one another enough to make them both enjoyable. This is one of my favorite series and it also taught me that manga are not like American stories where the good always triumphs and everything comes out roses and perfect.
Very enjoyable.

I love this manga to! I don't think it was short, 8 books is a perfect size of manga's. :3 It always getting boring when the manga is to long. >_<
I also love the art, and all the character's personality. :3 I like all of them, even Aion.

This story is great but short...the characters all well rounded you get to know them all well...Just a little bit of romance that makes you want more..and the art and action sequences are great too...A wacky nun demon hunter with a demon as her partner...two people from the opposite sides teaming up to save all of humanity.. You will laugh, you will cry and then wonder why there just wasn't more...
If you want a quick series read then this series is for you!!! Enjoy...

This series is great! The art is fantastic, realistic, detailed with out being over the top. Characters are well developed and could be real people or demons. Romance is minumal just enough to let the characters worked up. Only proplem with this series is its to short only 8 books! But other than that a good buy and read.
