Case Closed Synopsis: High-school mystery fan Jimmy Kudo is actually one of his high school’s best minds, but he gets his reality checks from his childhood friend and almost-girlfriend Rachel Moore. Nothing can keep Jimmy from a case, until he follows a suspicious man into a park, is accosted from behind and fed a strange chemical that renders him unconscious. When he awakens, he has been transformed into a puny grade schooler! The hapless boy finds a home with eccentric inventor Dr. Agasa, who searches for a cure for his condition. While he’s waiting to be restored to his adolescence, Jimmy takes on the name Conan Edogawa (borrowed from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and the last name of the famous Japanese mystery writer Edogawa Rampo). As Conan, he plays the part of the little brother that Rachel never had, and helps her incompetent private-detective father solve all of the gruesome murder mysteries that come their way.

I'm a Sherlocke Holmes fan to begin with so maybe I'm a little biased. At any rate, Conan is brilliant. His deductions are flawless and his extensive knowledge is always enough to save the day. Theres some humor in it when he tries to explain how a little kid would know all these things that offsets the darker tone of all the crimes that happen.

I have read case close since i was in Thailand and it is the best detective manga ever!!! he is a smart little boy, if you like the detective show, you would like this manga!!!

this is definately one of the best books in this series, but not entirely the best, it had me on the edge of my seat, but then it ended haha. yeah this book is great, i would definately reccomend this to anyone that likes reading mystery manga.

When Jimmy Kudo, high-school detective (a great one at that), is turned small by some men in black, he takes on the alias Conan Edogawa, and continues to solve the most baffling cases behind the scenes.
Case Closed is a great mystery manga. The plot is interesting, and the drawing style of Gosho Aoyama is totally unique! The cases are always confusing, and by the time you get through the first volume, you can't really suspect the person that the police think it is, even if the evidence is solid! Case Closed doesn't just have mystery. It's got action, comedy, and even a little romance! It's an awesome read, I would suggest it.

I haven't really got a chance to read the book yet...i ordered the first seven volumes...i hope they are good...i loved the show when i was a kid...i think that the books should be good too...can't wait to read them!

Mystery after mystery a great tale. Thought-out art with a great story line, and an intresting twist makes an unfrogetable tale. High Tec toys and shrinking ppl, alsways intreasting and realistic.

The first time when my friend recommend this manga i didn't expect to like this manga.But as i read it page by page,i am engage to it.The case that Shinichi/Jimmy aka Conan got,the mystery of the black organization,the cure for his body and his relationship with Ran/Rachel gonna make you feel very impatient to open the next page and find all of the answers.I Recommend this manga to all manga lovers.It got comedy,mystery and sometimes a little bit romance.
