Wheres 6 and 7? Jan 10, 2009
reviewed by Damien
From the artist of Gunsmith Cats, comes Cannon God Exaxxion, which at times may seem like a rip off of Neon Genesis Evangelion with its aspiring hero being an unlucky teenage boy. But in this story the main character is not an emotionally disturbed boy looking for longing, instead its a teenage boy fighting invading aliens. Although this story takes place in the future, old fashioned gun fights are always used with Sonoda's keen eye for detail of where each bullet hits.
If you get caught up in the story, you will sadly be disappointed as you'll discover that the story continues in the volumes six and seven, sadly Dark Horse never translated them. Unless you order them from Japan and translate it yourself then you'll have to fill the remainder of the story for yourself.
Here's hoping that they translate six and seven.
