A Promising Start Dec 05, 2008
reviewed by Keru
Fans of Mick Takeuchi's Her Majesty's Dog will find similar humor and ghost problems in this series. The main difference: this time, the heroine can't control her powers. Most of the time, she's barely tall enough to ride a roller coaster. The mysteries in this series look deep and promise a long, convoluted plot with a little romance and a lot of hardship. Pieces of the story are much darker and more mature than Takeuchi-sensei's previous work, so don't expect daisies and sunshine the whole way through, but the art is beautiful, the characters are compelling, and I can't wait to read the rest of the series.
