Bleach is an amazing manga/anime series that has some of the greatest action sequences and fight scenes in its genre. This series has A great plot with deception, achievement, and drama. In this series a young boy named Ichigo gains powers through a soul reaper named Rukia and vpws to protect those that are close to him and those who are in need. The series developes beautifully in the manga. However, in the anime there are a lot of sub-plots which can becom boring to some viewers. If you love the chracters from the start then the sub-plots should not become a problem. When the anime goes back to the main story line it developes perfectly from the manga. Bleach is a great anime with a wide cast of great chracters and a world of fantasy, overall my favorite anime!!!(mostly because of Orihime!!! lol ^_^)

If your not buying the season box set then this is by far the best deal, for a very few dollars more you get the manga that salt and peppers the story... sure just reading the manga or watching the anime is good, but doing both is more insightful and captivating, and each have parts the other leaves out.

Yes there are alot of good fights but there are some obvious filler episodes... Why would you need those in THE FIRST season??? However very good character previews and development. So overall it is worth your time and money.

Bleach is just another Shonen Jump Show. Except for two major thing most others lack. It has one of the most diversed and well rounded set of characters in any show if not the most. And the 2nd is unlike many others...It does everything with Style. Bleach itself would have been very typical shonen except it by far excelled with its character and style. Just reading the Manga or Watching the anime...You get that feel that many other lack. It feels far more alive then many others. And the anime even does a great job of it with some of the best animation and music giving a series this great even more life. Not to mention the characters...if you do not find atleast a half dozen you like. Your not trying hard enough.

Ichigo isn't my favorite character, but I though this plushie was cute. I'll warn you that that his shoes aren't amde the best, the two pieces of felt are only hot glued on and come off fairly easy. Rather than that, nice product.

I'm a total Bleach addict! I love the characters and how well they are developed. Be sure to pay attention to the little side stories between the chapters. So funny. This is the best manga that has been translated into anime that I have seen a long time. After reading the manga, the anime is just exactly what I imagined. Its awesome!

Bleach is a surprisingly amazing story with nifty characters. I was coming into the series thinking it was going to be another generic shonen, but you can quickly tell this is far from generic!

Kubo Tite is an amazing author. He is working in so many characters, each with their own unique and interesting story. On a larger scale the story itself is moving along quite nicely.

I don't think this one is going to end soon and I am happy!

If you're just getting started in on the Bleach craze, read, read, read these. This may not be as far as the anime has gone, or as far as the Japanese manga is, but this is the essential backstory, beautifully done. A wonderful read. Lots of fighting, mystery, and laughs.

You want it, this outstanding manga has it. Drama, action, romance, comedy, mystery...it's here. The (large) cast of characters are very well done, along with the artwork. The story seems familiar in the beginning; boy meets girl, boy saves girl, boy takes over girl's high-intensity career killing monsters. Tite Kubo sets the premise on its ear, and takes the reader along for a wild ride. This series is a must-have. Do not pass it by; you'll be glad you picked it up.

Bleach is about a somewhat normal student named Ichigo Kurosaki... he's normal except for the fact that he can see ghosts! This amazing shonen follows Ichigos' journey into becoming a Soul Reaper. It is a must read, which can be enjoyed by anyone.

Bleach is an awesome series. It has a great plot, and will keep your interest to read more and more. At first I was a bit skeptical if I should buy these or not so I started out just buying the first one. After reading it I wanted to read more to find out more. This series is also very well drawn and has a cool set of characters. Also if your buying any many Manga books I would suggest buying it here, because I have never seen such a good customer service from a website and with so much to offer as in free gifts.

bleach is a great series and full of surprises. you never know whats gonna happen. its easy to understand and has a great storyline. its for any anime lover. if you like action, you got it, if you like romance, you ,kinda got it, comedy, tons, and just plain fun its all in here. bleach is something that you can read over again and it can always turn a boring day into a fun one!!!!! i strongly recommend buying this!!!

I have to say the series in general is amazing just amazing. A total action packed story which I loved greatly. The reason I gave this ,manga series 4 stars is that I enjoy the anime more. The anime is further along and I just prefer to see Ichigo own people on a screen then in small draw boxes. The anime brings Bleach to life more, but a great manga as well.

More hollows, more battles and more humor are in store for you when you pick up the next installment in the Bleach series of DVDs… Volume Four contains episodes thirteen through sixteen in this exciting anime, that only seems to grow more and more interesting with each passing show.

With the introduction of some new characters, this show is about to really heat up! ( Not that it hasn’t had terrific momentum thus far! )

Some of the special features on this disc include a clean ( text free ) ending and great production art… Also keep your eyes peeled for some more cool stickers!

This is probably a good time to bring up the subject of the box art on all of the Bleach DVD releases… ( Yes, I’m an art nut! ) It’s simple, usually depicting just one of the characters, but it works great! ( My favorite thus far has been Ichigo on Volume One. )

Bottom Line: Who doesn’t love a show with plenty of action and adventure in it?… Bleach Volume Four is great! You should add it to your collection today!

Action, action, and more action! That's what this series is all about, with lots of story arcs to keep all you readers occupied! This is one of those series that you crave more and more of once you start reading. There's always things to look forward to, and it is overall a good series, even with all of the characters, and their steady development throughout the story. There are a few characters to keep up with all of the time, but the main characters are the best, of course. Basically, it's about a boy who takes a shinigami aka death god's powers at the beginning of the story. He uses it and kicks butt, but that is not the end of his problems! If you like action, this is definitely for you! Also as a successful anime, Bleach is also something great to watch! Just don't watch too much, or else you'll get hooked, and crave for more!

I have five of these, it's random so I got two Hitsugaya, two Ichigo and one Tousen. Since you don't know what you're going to get it's better to pick a release with the most characters you like as you have a higher chance of getting someone you want.

The figures are all pretty good quality and detail for their size, although I had to assemble Hyourinmaru and attach Ichigo's sword arm (Hyorinmaru is clear and looks fantastic). Each comes with a little stand as seen in the picture (although some of mine were black, not orange), and a small picture of the character. If you don't mind not knowing what you're going to get (and that can be fun too), and like the series Bleach, then it's worth getting one of these.

I Love this one to. Now in the beginning it dose seem a little slow to getting to the main story line but I for one enjoy getting to know the characters before it jumps to the main part of the story and I do know for some, they don’t care about all that, and if you are one of those I would say just tuff it out and give it a chance the fighting is cool and it has a very new and original Idea/storyline. If you are looking for something different this would be one and another thing is with this series you could truly take every main character and make a series base around each of them and it would still be awesome. What I am saying really is that they don’t belittle the other characters just to make the main character look better, as I am sure you have seen other series do just so the hero is stronger and better than the rest. And that is just another thing about this series that I have come to love so much and not to mention that it thus far has not faltered in its story line even the Fillers have been awesome. No were besides maybe one or two episodes far and in-between have they been episodes you would want to skip. So all in all another A++ for this one.

I fell in love from episode 1! I mean, who couldnt you know? Its a must have for all you people! Beautiful art, hilarious (is that spelled right?) scenes, and action to shame all of those jet-li movies in youre closet along with the mystery of a Sherlock Holmes book. This manga has lots of characters, and I really, really mean it! Each character is so different, physically and also in his way of thinking, acting and battling, so you will find a favorite character easily.

Even though the first vlumes might be kind of not-so-good, the next volumes are GREAT, the battles are beautifully drawed and the character development is quite good.

There is a good amount of plot-twists in this manga, of course I won´t spoil them, but I must say that the first time I read those I really was surprised.

I HIGHLY recommend to read Knights of the Zodiac, since Soul Society Arc is more or less a Copy and Paste of Knigths of The Zodiac.

The Bleach universe has a vast amount of characters who all have their own fleshed out backgrounds. Its one of the few shows that lets someone besides the main character shine and actually do something of value. It brings fantasy sword and magic fights to the 21st century, truely a must read for any fantasy, sci-fi or supernatural fan.

Plus, once you inevitably get hooked, it has some of the coolest merchandise around, so your addiction doesn't go unquenched.

Bleach is THE MOST overrated series that I know of.

The anime is literally 50% filler, you can see why because the each weekly manga chapter is not substantial enough to keep up with a weekly anime.

The series has a good premise, cool powers, and some characters you can relate to, and can be humorous at times. Where this manga is flawed is in the mangaka's storytelling ability. The two major story arcs are the same (rescue my friend who has been taken to the other world) and the main antagonist is invincible and could easily kill everyone easily but uses his powers stupidly. Also, all of the characters have the same facial structure.

I would recommend that you read this series so that you can have a standard for bad manga.
