I believe this was the first series I started collecting when I got into manga. I couldn't have made a better decision. Samura's art is just beautiful. Only a true artist could portray movement and emotion as he does. He is a masterful story teller and combined with his hypnotizing art the reader can be completely consumed. He is my favorite author and I couldn't recommend his manga highly enough.
If you like samurai, blood, gore, and all around action then this is a must have series.

This is the best series ever. The drawing style, the storyline, the character development. It's just an awesome read for anyone into ancient japan and samurai conflict.
