Beautiful Art, Twisted Plot Jan 12, 2008
reviewed by Mishojo
I picked up Bizenghast because of the cover art- it was different than your typical manga. We are introduced to Dinah- a young girl who can see the spirits that linger on the grounds of the ancient school that she calls home. She lives with her aunt, who doesn't really know how to be a mom but makes an effort. Her best friend is Vincent, a boy who lives by himself because his parents constantly travel. After spending some time outside, they make their way home only to become lost, and they discover a graveyard.
But not just any graveyard.
It is in fact a mausoleum, and upon signing a contract, Dinah must work to set the souls of the deceased free. But it won't be easy, for some of them don't want to leave. And Dinah will discover that every soul can inflict very real pain.

I first started reading Bizenghast when my friend Caytlin told me about it. It's awsome. This girl named Dianh and her best freind Vincent. Stumble upon an old mosuleim that happens to house unrested spirits. Now Dianh and Vincent have to go to the mosuleim ever night to free them.If you enjoy mystery you'll love these books.
