I literally lmao-ed, lol-ed, rofl-ed, ext. with the first book of Bird Kiss by uh... Sorry, Don't have it with me at the moment. Anyway, the beginning is a small comic of The frog prince which the story goes off of. They introduced the characters really well in this, the characters are lovable, and the art is hilarious. The artist has an odd way of drawing, but you'll soon love it (in a matter of seconds actually).
Miyoul, the main character is loud, clever, a go-getter, and doesn't care what other people think. She has a childhood friend (if you could call him that) named Heerak. He has had a crush on her but is WAY on the nerdy type. She could care less about him but is more focussed on Guilen (sp??) and getting into the slipper club.
If you need a good addiction and a lot of laughs, pick this manga up, I promise it will be one of your favorites.

Alright, so I'm guessing you read the little summery and already know the main characters if your checking out number two, right? If not, you definally should check out this series. So, after Miyoul finds out Little Heerak isn't so little (or nerdy) anymore, it still doesn't change her opinion on him (go Miyoul for not falling for a pretty face!) So they make up, and then it skips forward to the first day of school. Guilen (sp...) is keeping Heerak's glasses hostage until he agrees to become part of the slipper club. Heerak doesn't anyway. Guilen figures he needs to get Miyoul out of the way so he takes her out on her birthday, the day she promised to Heerak. OOPS.
I won't say anymore, but You feel pretty bad for Heerak, but also see Miyoul's side too (I mean, she doesn't like the guy so why promise a speical day to him) I still liked the first one better just because some things were a bit predictable, and because Heerak's personality seemed to change with his new look. I could say a few examples, of how hes WAY more confident and cool but I'll let you decide. The art is consistant and everything else is great so its still a great series even though Heeraks personality is different.
