I don't know much about the manga but the anime Beyblade is awesome! The series is always interesting and very fulfilling. To understand the whole thing you'd have to watch the first series even though it might not look very good. Personally I thought the first series looked really stupid but after watching it I couldn't stop. Its more comedy and action than anything else. I definitely recommend Beyblade the anime. Sorry I can't help with the manga version!! I've never read it!
