Hmm... Jun 16, 2008

This was a fun story, but not a favorite. Three sisters have to go and save endangered animals and put them on their whale-shaped ark with a special kind of eden inside it. They can see animals as people, and interact with them on a more human level. Every animal they save puts the clock back another hour, but if they miss saving one, it goes forward, and if time runs out, humans will be destroyed. The artwork was good, the main characters were interesting, and the story premise was intriguing, but there was no real conclusion, something that tends to bug me a lot. In short, I think it's worth reading at least once, but it's not something you desperately need to own.
