I am a huge fan of the yaoi kingdom--I'll even admit to being a fan girl. But this book is a bad impersonation of a good story: the pictures were bad, the story line was rushed and it seemed like the author only wanted to get SOMETHING published. To make a manga great is to be able to relate to it real life, and i feel that it was just SO unrealistic--from the playboy charms to the smut scenes that every yaoi reader secretly is looking for. I want a good plot, a strong story line, a character so definite that he is REAL. I did not get it with this book.

I've fallen head over heals in love with this series! The art is fantastic, the characters are lovable, the story (which I'll admit is not at all believable) is charming... What's not to like? I haven't finished the series, but I'm watching all the anime episodes I can find and I've read the first two books. With a series as promising as this one, I tend to think there'll be a let down somewhere along the way, but I have yet to be disappointed. Do yourself a favor and read this one!
