Love it Jun 07, 2007

I absolutely love this manga. Although I was a bit reluctant to try it out (the authors have been known for their shounen-ai), I gave it a shot and I fell in love. The characters are so cute and the storyline revolves around the politics of heaven and earth. Although the story's listed as a shoujo, the entire storyline doesn't just focus on Dong-Young's lovelife; there's a lot of focus on the politics, side-stories, and warriors of heaven.
The main character, Dong-Young, is a gender-bending tomboyish princess that somehow landed herself with an engagement with the King of Hell. She runs away from home, of course, and now, the guardians of heaven are trying to find her to bring her back. At the same time, however, there are demons in hell that don't want her to marry their king, and they'll do anything to stop her from it.
There's a lot of mystery in this story that just keeps you guessing and guessing. I have no idea who some of the characters are, and every time I guess something, I end up changing my mind. One things for sure - there's a lot of suspense and humour seems to pop up randomly along the plot. You'll fall in love with all the characters if you ever read this manwha.
