Anima is a promising story with great characters... Jun 20, 2007 reviewed by Eimajtl
The story of the crow like boy Cooro is moving along quite nicely. They are taking no time to diddle daddle around with boring chapters. If you like a good story and cute characters this is a must read.
Cooro is gaining friends pretty qiuckly and hidden secrets of his past are being revealed. This series is a quick and fun read!

Great Series! Jun 02, 2008 reviewed by ssjup81
I started reading this at work, while sitting with a student, who was taking a test in the library. I didn't have anything on me to read while he was testing, and he didn't need my help, so I saw that the school's library had this manga. I started reading Volume I. I was hooked, and then read up to Volume 7 just recently.
It's such a cute series about four children trying to find a place to belong, with sad pasts, in a world where they are discriminated against, rejected, and treated badly, like in some places, their kind are sold into slavery.
I'm looking forward to Volume 8 to see how Husky manages.

Cute Story of a Group of Outcasts' Journey Apr 07, 2008 reviewed by anime_luver29
+Anima is a very unique manga series. It is about four kids that are traveling to find a place they belong since they are outcasts from being +anima, people with animal characteristics. The story is unique in the sense that there is no real plot, it is really more like watching how the four grow up and how they help and meet new people. I would definitely recommend that you read this series sometime in your life, even if you read it just because you are bored one day. It is definitely worth reading.

Total fantasy! Jul 07, 2008 reviewed by Mel (Anima Vol. 01)
I loved +Anima! It’s like the stuff I imagine so to see it in pictures is awesome. The Audience for this one is probably young (or immature readers like me). I loved all of it and will make an effort to collect the series! The only down fall is that the animals I always use in my head aren’t there, I’m not sure if this is good or bad! It would be cool to see drawings of them but it still keeps my imagination mine, and using other animals it make the story interesting because all the animals have different talents. (I still think a Fox, Wolf or Tiger +Anima would work well). I loved reading it and it is defiantly worth it if your just looking for something light hearted and fun.
