A keychain with Konoha's( The Leaf village for those that dont watch regularly) resident lazy bum, Shikamaru...The genius also. Shikamaru uses wits and tact instead of brute force to upset his enemies... Carry him with you to keep up with your homework. Sure he cant actually help but it will distract everyone else so you still have the high score.

I found the story easy to get into, even if Naruto and company don't fit my stereotypical image of the term 'ninja'. While the anime may be plagued by an insane amount of filler, the manga is the original work, so there is no 'filler' to be found here. While it may fall victim to the usual get-new-special-attack-soon-to-combat-new-enemy format, I must admit that it is one of my guilty pleasures. Recommended.

First off, don't judge this manga by the first anime season! Its a great read and no fillers! The art is good, realistic and all that stuff. The story line gives you somthing to marvel out and think about. Just look at all the Fanfic out there! Its loved by all a deffinet good.

This series is one of the best series I have ever read AND watched. I have read the manga and went onto the tv show and it was just as I had expected it to be like. Naruto is a great story of a boy who is trying really hard to get everyone to notice him and be accepted by everyone. There are a lot of action scenes, drama scenes, and funny scenes. You'll never be bored reading Naruto with all the excitement and the great set of characters drawn into it.

In my oppinion, Naruto is all about its amazingly written manga series or the glorious colors of the anime, but just reading in a novel seems just out of the Naruto spirit! Don't waiste your money on the novels when you could buy the graphical comic of the manga. Its the original Naruto series type since the anime is based on the manga. Trust me, you'll thank me later when someone sees your bookshelf with Naruto manga and says Wow! Nice manga collection! instead of Why would you read the noval? Thats just plain and dumb. Buy the manga! Or enjoy the anime, but I recommend you not reading the novel.

As an adult, I didn't want something that looked like a child's toy and this key chain delivers. The outside of the key chain has the Hidden Leaf symbol and looks totally sleek. The inside photo of Kakashi is also very nice - not a cheesy looking fake type photo. All in all, when people see my key chain, I usually get a compliment or a question which then leads to a good anime conversation. The only reason I did not give this item a full 5 stars is because after only having the key chain for 2 months, the magnet that holds it shut broke. Regardless of this fact, I still would recommend the key chain to any Naruto/Kakashi fan.

I'm pretty jaded on the subject of manga... I've bought some serious crap in my time and I'm bored with alot of manga due to cliches that seem to be recycled by writers who seem to be trying to cash in on an original idea (D.Gray-crap anyone?). Now, I've been avoiding Naruto just because I figured it was going to be the same old thing: young boy, big destiny, amazing power, blah blah blah. Well, it is... but for some odd reason I like it. I like ninjas (who doesn't... christ, I wanted to be one when I was a kid) and I like superheroes (wanted to be that too, heh heh), and Naruto is like a Japanese/ninja superhero manga. I know this manga is geared towards kids, so I was taking my experience reading it with a grain of salt. I wasn't expecting a complicated plot, in-depth character development or anything like that... just a simple romp of ninja action peppered with pseudo-mythological underpinings. And it was refreshing not having to deal with a manga writers' focus on boobs in this one too. Too many manga writers (western writers and artists as well), have a heavy hangers addiction which cheapens a good story. So there isn't DDD ladies showing crotch shots in their schoolgirl outfits here (well, Ninja Centerfold aside). And thank god for that. If I wanted to see that, I'd surf some porn. Anyways, Naruto is cheap and fun. I'm going to collect this series... I just don't want anyone to know. Good toilet reading.

My brother introduced me to Naruto, and at first it seemed to be just another silly action/adventure. But as I continued reading, I realized that the story is much like Naruto himself; it hid a gentle heart under a seemingly rough exterior. There are some basic themes to Naruto, and one of the more important ones is the strength of friendship and family. The concept of protecting those who are precious to you is introduced here, but will carry on throughout the series. True, I love the fights, but I enjoy it more because both sides have a reason to fight. And whichever side loses, they have lost something tangible. As annoying and incompetent Naruto can be, one can't help but cheer for him, because he doesn't give up. The chips are stacked against him, but he finds the courage to continue. There's a lot more I could say, but the characters (many of which haven't really been introduced at this point) are so interesting and each has so much back history, that I can't really do them justice. All I can do is recommend this series. The world of Naruto is complex, but operates within oddly logical confines. So, enjoy the story and let Naruto show you how to show some empathy and understand for even your adversaries.

I must agree that at this price you can not pass up an item so well into the naruto universe. This showcases all of Kishimoto's art for his Manga covers as well as Shonen Jump covers. He also gives his story on every picture the reason for them and the difficulty. It comes with a nice fold out poster on the inside as well as the making of Naruto art. Telling right down to the tools he uses to draw them so well. If your a fan of Naruto period! Dont let this item pass you up.

I LOVE this series it has awesome story line and is one of the best out there. All the characters pulls your attention and have there own personalities, you truly fall in love with more that just the main character and for some, even the villains due a good job at being bad or some are just likable you cant help it. Now majority of the series is what I would rate as an A+++ but once you get to the main battle around esp. 130-140 then it losses the main focus and are just episode to episode. No new information is found and doses not evolve from what happen in the first 140 episodes. It’s all fillers and should be watched in small amounts other wise you won’t like it, it tends to get boring but if you watch with gaps then it keeps your interest more. (At least it did for me). But don’t expect to see any awesome fights like in the first part otherwise you will be let down. And it goes all the way to episode 220 before it starts the second saga of the series witch from what I have see I have love but not enough has happen for me to advised of my thoughts on the matter as of yet. But all in all If you like kick ass fights, Comedy, and ninjas I love this series.

If you like Shonen this manga is for you! This is one of the best mangas ever made, the characters are so different from each other, you will always have your favorites, even make pairs (Shippings) between them and speculate about what will happen next. The art is pretty cool, the author (Masashi Kishimoto) has a unique style that resembles that of Katsuhiro Otomo.

The story telling is great and each ninja will have a different reason, background, story, motivation, love, etc. so it makes every character likeable in one of another way, even some of the most underrated characters will have character development more often than not. This is a story for shonen lovers, it has a great story, art is cool, but sometimes it seems as if the story is moving just to slow, but the action begins when you are about to complain about that. A must read, period.

This is a good manga, great for beginers who want to start on a solid title, but also good veterans who want some clean ninja action. Along with one piece and bleach, naruto is one of the great shonen series, that you read just for fun, there's not too much depth to it, but once again, it's a fun title.

This manga, about a young ninja who dreams of being the top dog is a great read for anyone who needs a pick me up, but also delivers several dramatic moments and tons of action to go along with it.

The Naruto merchandise is also top rank and almost every popular character has their own plushie and key chain any fan can find what they're looking for.

If I could sum Naruto up in one word it would have to be: Interesting. Naruto grabs your attention and runs with it. It's mostly fighting, but I'm not entirely sad about that(although, some Romance/Drams wouldn't be missed...) as it gives Naruto its own style. Overall, I like Naruto and I recommend it to you all.

I like Naruto better in Japanese than in english, but i think they're both great! Naruto is a good median with a fairly intersting plot. i would recommend it to anyone who likes ninja anime. It has a lot of really funny aspects but it also has just enough serious things to make it intersting.

Naruto is by far the best manga, anime that i know of it was the book that got me started in collecting manga and anime I dont rilly need to say anything to describe Naruto becosue almost everyone how is into manga and anime has heard or even read Naruto or maybe you just watched it on cartoon network not knowing it was an anime.

If you are looking to start your road down that path of manga. I suggest the one book you check out be Naruto I Am telling you that you will fall in love with the series.

My favorite male character is Kiba and I was so happy to see him in a perfect stance in such a cute plush toy! Most anime plush toys don't make the characters look correct, and usually there is something odd with the stance the toy is in, but in this Kiba and Akamaru plush, I was very pleased with the very nice modeling of it. I would suggest this plush more then anyother Naruto plush around.

Since my favorite character is Hinata, I love this episode of Naruto. Its the bridge to Hinata becomming a determined and self worthy ninja; its the fight that updated her character's plot and skeam. I seriously recommend anyone buying this episode! Though, since Hinata is my favorite character, of course I loved these episodes! It may have a different personal effect to others who like different characters in the series.

This was such a great action manga. Its proboly my favorite. If you want to try it, I say go for it! But read the manga, and not watch the anime. It is interesting and I feel in love with it after the first book. It isn't exactly a cute series, but it made me both laugh and cry many times. Its worth reading at least the first book if you don't want to read the whole series!

This is a great headband but it seems a little big and it looks clunky looking. The trick is to bend it a little on your knee to fit your forehead. It's a must for cosplayers!

I think Naruto is a great show of series, i havent seen the next series but I have seen some of the books in magizens you can even read them online for no cost at all. I like all of the characters exept for a fu of them. but some of the episods are a waste of time like one second your injoing the show then a comershal comes on then the end and it's like come on all well you say to your self and you just wate for six days all you get to see is a crapy episod that's what I hate about it but I dont hate the show I love it from start to finish.

I absolutely ADORE Naruto. The manga is awesome but when it comes to the anime, I'd buy the original Japanese version. Naruto in English has pretty crappy dubs. It's been cleaned out too, so bye bye cussing and ultra bloody scenes. Even so, it's a great shonen manga and the perfect gift for any ninja fanatic(WEOO!!!)
