I don't have this product, but I used to have a friend that did and it managed to hold in tact for years through all the washing it went through. It's a really comfy cap, but don't wear it to keep warm, it just doesn't get that amazing, sorry.

Zodiac Jul 30, 2007 reviewed by seasovereign
I actually started watching Fruits Basket because of the ad it had on my Dragonball Z DVDs. Even in that condensed few seconds, the storyline seemed irresitable. Its interesting (and most of the time extremely comical) to see how all the Sohma's handle being cursed. You have people like Ayame, who seem to be completly fun loving, and then Hatori, who has a tragic past due to his role in the family.
A deep show with some touches of action and tons of comedy.

A Shojo for both Girls and Boys! Jun 03, 2007 reviewed by Deejay_Beta
Fruits Basket is totally original. It is sweet, funny, and totally different from what you usually see. Plus, it has a lovely soundtrack. It has all the beauty you could want from a anime and a better story line then most. I'd highly recommend giving it a try. I love it and don't know why they don't make more!

A truly wonderful manga May 29, 2007 reviewed by Aly
I really love this series and believe is one of the best if not the best manga series out. Although at first I didn't care for the artwork, it gets better and I now really enjoy Ms. Takaya's expressive style. The story and characters are top-notch and the setting is good. I thought the first few chapters were a little confusing, but if you stick with it I'm sure you'd greatly enjoy it.

The first anime I ever bought May 09, 2008 reviewed by ChloeBlack101
Fruits Basket went down in my history as the first anime (and manga) series I ever purchased. I was immediantly hooked from the first disc, and had to have it. It just so loveable and fun. I mean come one... a whole family of total hottie boys (and bombshell girls) that turn into cute, furry animals when hugged. What's not to love?!
The anime was great, but I hated to see it end with only 26 eps. There's SO MUCH MORE to the story. The manga goes on for... 20+ volumes (I think 24 total in Japan at least). And the anime only goes up to like volume... 6 or 7ish I think. There NEEDS to be more Fruits anime if there's any justice. It didn't get involved in the actual curse nearly enough, and too many things were just glazed over. Not to mention my favorite female zodiac (Rin) was not a character in the anime. That's my only complaint.
Fruits Basket is just so fun-loving, while also having drama moments and very sad moments. I haven't met anyone yet who hasn't instantly fallen in love with Fruits Basket, even people who usually don't like anime.

It's pretty disappointing that this is like the ONLY Haru merchandise. As far as it goes, it is a good hat. But Haru needs a plush, or something, people. Even Aya gets a plush... they need to start showing some Haru love. This hat, awesome as it is, just didn't make the cut by itself.

another of my favorites May 06, 2008 reviewed by harin (Fruits Basket Complete Box Set)
the only thing i didn't like about this anime is that it ended. i love the plot and i have to admit hatsuharu sohma is my favorite character in this anime. the short hand of this anime is that a girl finds her self living in a house full of sohma's with a BIG secret. once she learns that secret her world turns upsidown and she learns to live a very strange life full of suprises. this amazing anime was too short in my view because the manga keeps going past the anime. if i recal the anime stops near book 7 or 8 of the manga and at the moment the manga is at book 19. also in the manga you meet alot more people so i also strongly recomend reading those as well as buying the anime.

I got the Kyo Back Pack as a random gift from a friend. I couldn't use it as a real backpack, so I used it as a purse until it literally broke. I LOVED this simple little backpack. I'm so sad the zipper finally gave out. I'm going to make it into a pillow now that I can't fix it to use as a purse. It is a simple little tribute to Fruits, but I thought it was adorable. This is soooo nice! Oct 26, 2007 reviewed by Jettneko (Fruits Basket Ultimate Edition Vol. 01)
The Ultimate Edition is basically a Hardcover, large-print version of the first two manga. When I say large print, I mean that this book is 6 X 9 as opposed to the usual 5 X 7. The color pages are the covers to the manga, but still look really nice (this was my only disappointment b/c when I read interior color art, I was expecting some new art, not the front covers of the manga). I'm still looking for the autograph from Takaya, but I can't seem to find it anywhere in the book.
I do like this version because it's easier to see the smaller print and details in this larger book. I also like the fact that as a hardcover book, this is more likely to survive loans to friends and outlive all the paperback manga. They announce at the end of the book that there are plans for a Ultimate Edition, Vol. 2 (which would contain vols. 3 & 4) in it, and I'm seriously considering buying it.

I think that the plot and story are awesome, though I haven't read all of the manga, I've seen the entire series. Though I must say in the anime, I was pretty shocked at the ending. Changed in the Middle Dec 05, 2008 reviewed by Keru
It began as a light teen comedy and turned into a dark, moody, older teen soap. (The art style changed halfway through the series, too.) Knowing about the bleak, mature situations in later volumes, I wouldn’t recommend this series to younger readers. But if you like angst-ridden dramas, this is perfect for you.

Fruits Basket is a series that is truly engaging. So do I recommend it?
Well... yes and no.
The Anime I give say YES, OH HELL YES.
The manga... not really. I own a volume (and GOD YES is it funny!), but as the series progresses (past the anime, I might add), it becomes more and more Soap Opera-ish. It feels...blah. And takes itself way too seriously, I might add. Where did the funny go? The romance and story was a positive factor at its start, but the end is rather predictable and anti-climactic.
My opinion is: it's not worth your money collecting. If you're desperate, read the thing at the library.

Fruits Basket is a complexly written manga series that just makes you wanna go SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!.
It has a character for each drooling we have. The beautiful character of Yuki; the strong, silent time of Kyo; the perverted teacher... the list go on! It's a series any Otaku can enjoy.
All in all, though... the manga isn't gender specific. Even the most macho of men will enjoy it.

My View On Fruits Basket Sep 10, 2008 reviewed by Bejitadbz
Honestly, I could only say that that I was shocked at myself. The first time I had seen this, I shunned it because I thought it to be sooo girly. But, after reading the first book, I was obsessed!!! Like what others have said, it may mostly be because yu relate to someone in the manga. That their personality. They are all so different. And... what made me carry on, was because I 'ADORE' Kyo-Kun!! Even as soon as I saw him in Manga Vol 1!
Being someone to read mangas like Battle Royale and Berserk, yu would think that Romance isn't my thing. But it's great to fit it in once in a while. A mix is good for yu! :3 I even recomend it to those yu read the same as I do.
The Manga books are a great pick to have! And any character that yu love from Fruits Basket, yu can always buy other items of them, even if it's not practical. XD (I'm buying EVERYTHING of Kyo!!! XDD)

LOVE IT! Feb 18, 2008 reviewed by mangagurly225
I love this series so far, it's got a great clash of humor, romance, fantasy, and a little bit of folk lore added as well. These books are AWESOME, guys and girls can both easily identify with them. I know SEVERAL guys who love this series as well. I also love that the series has gone on for awhile and it's still going strong. It's got like 19 books out so far (actually the 19th hasn't come out yet) but don't be daunted by the number, once you start reading you just can't stop. If there's even a chance you might like them you should definately read! Once you start reading you'll be hooked till the end.

A nice romance/comedy/angsty story! Feb 06, 2008 reviewed by Niko
I was given the first volume of Fruits Basket as a gift, and I thought that it was okay, but nothing special. But, as I read on, the characters started working their way into my head, and I came to truely care for them. After the initial getting to know the situation chapters, this manga is absolutely fantastic with twists, happy endings, bittersweet endings, and everything inbetween. Every so often there will be a chapter where seemingly nothing of importance happens, but for the most part, Fruits Basket is quite a ride!

Swwwweeeeet bag Nov 29, 2007 reviewed by aarealskei
This little bag saved my life at my last anime convention. I took a tote bag to Onicon and before I could get through the front door, it ripped. Thank goodness I found this bag and boy, was it a godsend. Though I didn't buy it from Just Manga, I would definitely recommend it. It's not big and bulky - just right for carrying necessities. I normally carry a large purse, but this bag is so cool and so much lighter, that I actually made an effort to scale down so I could continue to use it. Even if you are one of those people who must carry a huge bag, this little bag is still great for those times, like anime conventions, parties, etc., when a big purse is just too much. One side has a large pocket with a velcro patch to close it. I use this pouch to hold things like store receipts. The other side has a zipper pocket - the zipper is on the side, not on the top of the pouch. I use this to hold personal items. The center is the main pouch and it's large enough to hold things like a small wallet, checkbook and few odds and ends. There are metal rings on the sides which are great for holding a cell phone pouch. Overall, this little bag is cute, sturdy and something you won't regret buying.

A Story with True Soul. Sep 25, 2007 reviewed by Faith
This is a series which, to my extent of experience, is the best manga you will ever read. It's so touching, and, as the story progresses, delves deeper into a dark, cursed, place. But more than that, gains something so great and bright that words can't create a picture of it, but you'll know it once you experience it. The way things are lain out, you can see things in the very first chapter that are finally shown for themselves much later. With the amount of characters, each having their own very unique and lovable personalities, there is someone for any person to relate to. It would seem that it really outlines what every person goes through, and understands simple frustrations that seem too small to mention, but build up. Over-all, I love this series, and I hope you do, too!
